Currently I am living in Paris but I am from Italy. More specifically from a little town just close to Venice, which for years gave me the advantage of visiting this unique city every time I wanted.

Have to admit that I truly saw the beauty of Venice once I moved to Paris.

I am sure I am not the only one that lived this. You tend to never realise how lucky you are until you cannot have something as you used to.

So, know every time I am going back home I always see my city with different attitude. I stop more often, admire more carefully and enjoy every little second.

One of my side job is being a photographer. Being able to capture moment it is one of my favourite thing to do. In these years I have always thought about what I can create in order to show the beauty of Venice.

Especially after these last years, I think media are not doing a great job in showing you the best side of the city. Instead they keep underling things that most of the time are also incorrect.

However, I connected my desire of showing more of this place with your love of sharing your moments on Instagram.

With the help of my incredible friend Larissa, I am gonna share few spots in Venice where you can pose and capture the essence of this romantic and special place.

1. GONDOLA RIDE

It is not exactly a spot, more like an experience but you cannot come to Venice and leave without taking a little ride on the Gondola. If your excuse is that is too expensive I am not gonna accept it. Where on earth you will have the chance to live the exact same experience? Nowhere.

Plus will end up having beautiful snap.

2. PUNTA DELLA DOGANA

It is situated opposite to San Marco square. Lot of people miss this spot and I do not understand why.

Taking your photo in San Marco Square it is a must have but from this side you can have a beautiful view of the canale and San Marco’s bell tower.

3. BAGLIONI HOTEL

This is actually close to the entrance of one of the most beautiful hotel in Venice. Even Taylor Swift stayed here once. It is just two steps away from San Marco square and you can take a cute little shot with gondolas and the canal in the back.

4. BRIDGE OF SIGHTS

You can access to this bridge only by visiting Palazzo Ducale(my favourite place in Venice). However you can still take many pictures by accessing two bridges. I suggest you to go down from the bridge where you can have unique view. If you are lucky enough you will also get the chance to catch a Gondola in the back.

5. PONTE DE CANONICA

If you are too scared to stay close to the water but still want the Bridge of Sight in your photo then you can walk to this other bridge.

6. LIBRERIA ACQUA ALTA

There is a beatiful hidden in the little streets of Venice.

It is worth visiting if even can be a little crowded sometimes. You will see gondola inside the place used as bookshelf. Moreover they ave their own gondola just in the canale where you can sit and take your photo.

So, if you are not able to take the ride you can definitely try to get your photo here.

8. RIALTO BRIDGE

Instead of taking the typical photo on the bridge you can take it from this corner. In this way you will have a photo with the bridge in your back instead of fighting with people just walking in your photo because they are trying to cross the bridge.

9. RIALTO CORNER

If the spot 8 is not something you like here you are. Just cross the bridge and go on the other side. You will be closer to the Gran Canal and still have a magnificent view of the famous Bridge of Venice.

Moreover by arriving here you going to pass different bars where you can enjoy a good spritz and enjoy the view.

To find all the places just write on google maps the name I gave you. I tried to simply the geolocalisation as much as I could. Walking around Venice it is not always easy but these spots are not so far from each other and you can do everything in once.
